Gloom Aid is back! This unique night is all about brightening up the gloomiest day of the year (as worked out by some boffins somewhere)...

If you missed Band Aid as you were still in your pram, or missed Live Eight as you were in the pub then Gloom Aid is for you! (Albeit a bit smaller and without Bob Geldof shouting at you for your cash).

Time Out are calling Gloom Aid 2010 "a message of joy for those starting to feel the bite of winter blues. On what is scientifically proved to be the gloomiest day of the year, you can laugh away the post-festive misery".

NEWS FLASH! We are pleased to announce that the brilliant MATT BERRY will be making a very special guest appearance at Gloom Aid 2010!

Our exciting line-up also includes our special guest star MARK MORRISS of THE BLUETONES performing a very special acoustic set!

We're also very pleased to announce that MARK WATSON will be our compere for the evening. Also confirmed on the bill is the brilliant ROBIN INCE, plus the man who made birdwatching cool: ALEX HORNE, stand-up from ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU and DANNY ROBINS aka DJ DANNY, music from the talk of this year's Edinburgh Festival FRISKY AND MANNISH, and a return appearance by the amazing JOHN HEGLEY, plus a very special film made specialy for us by MISERY BEAR!
